At the moment, I am testing the adiPURE IV by adidas and will have a review of the boot by the end of the week. In the review, I will focus on comfort, fit, and performance. What Footy Guru followers are saying about the adiPURE IV:

"i played in the adipure iv for the second time on saturday and they are so comfy. amazingly comfy in fact. good fit all round with no blistering. i could wear them all day. i had the adipure ii and they were lovely with a great feel for the ball. i didnt go for the adipure iii as i didn't quite like the styling although i recognize them as a good boot. the adipure iv nail it with the styling. Between the adipure ii or iv i'd say the iv's just get the nod. Only because they are slightly more comfy than the ii's straight out of the box. The adipure ii is a more narrow boot than the iv but once broken in are super comfy."

Speaking on the behalf of the adiPURE IV "i have not had any blisters, the heels feel fine after breaking them in. after playing for a few hours on saturday, the outsides of my feet were getting sore but there were no blisters. I think once the k-leather stretches it will be very comfy. I played a league game last nite and they felt great, the touch is excellent..maybe its a mental thing or marketing hype, but i feel like my touch is so much better with these because of the k-leather. adiPURE II

If you are already bored with the current adiPure and Predator X color ways or if they are just not your style then maybe this post will raise your spirits of what is soon to come. As you know sometimes adidas plays it safe and releases the boring colors first and then later comes out with the color that captures your interest. It is not a myth just look back at the first couple releases of the predators and the adiPURE every boot has black and red on it. Just stating the facts...Furthermore, about two weeks ago I posted a picture of the unreleased red adiPURE IV'S and in the first day almost 100 footy fans visited footy guru to check out these boots. Looking back i was surprised by the amount of attention those boots got but then i remembered and looked in my closet at the adiPURE II's which were also released in a FLASHY red color way. So far it is the only red adiPURE in the series and by the amount of attention this boot is getting, I can tell that fans are excited about this release/color way. Maybe red is the new pink? This color way will be released this fall for those of you waning to get your hands on this boot!

As for the Predator X, which in my opinion has been a disappointment will have one more color way before the new adiPOWER Predator is released in June. This boot will be classic and have a lot of fans because the boot is all black. I can remember when having all black boots were stylish, and specifically remember when the PUMA king was all blacked out. I remember playing with kids from all over the nation that summer and seeing those boots everywhere. Not sure, but i think Puma discontinued those boots which was a big mistake! The advice i can give to PUMA, keep it simple stupid, sometimes less is more and old school is better.
